Adam,
The Age of Conversation will probably make you puke at times, but there are some good nuggets. I’m still working my way through it and it takes a few unexpected turns.
It’s kind of a collection of “short stories” for 2.0 marketing types. Let us know what you think via Twitter etc.
[...] “Where are the Joneses” is my favorite show ever. The script is brilliantly written. I have to watch each episode two or three times to make sure I catch everything. It’s also an incredibly revolutionary show, being the first sitcom of this quality to be so freely licensed. From its kicking license to its quality subtle humor, it leaves me suspense everyday, waiting for the next episode. I’m not going to rave about all the hip social networking stuff (flickr, youtube, twitter, facebook, wiki) or the whole “open production” thing, as I think that it is a tad overrated, but I do appreciate it, and I was (sort of) pleased the other day to find out that episode 33 was based on something I mentioned. I’m not usure how though…here is my comment on the forums. Also, it’s great to see how much the creators communicate with their fans. If you look at my two past posts on WRTJ, zeroinfluencer has responded both times, and Adam Crowe picked up on some of my comments. [...]
